10Km Training Guide
Well, it has taken far longer than anticipated but better late than never.
My latest book "5k and 10k From Start to Finish" is now out and is the perfect guide for anyone tackling a 5k or 10k race.
Written in association with Race for Life, it gives you everything you need to know, from training advice to injury prevention, and makes the perfect present for yourself, or anyone you know who is a keen runner.
What's more, a percentage of the profits are donated to Cancer Research, so for the good of your training and Charity, click on the book cover image to your right to find out more.
The 10k Training Guide
If you aren't quite ready to invest in the book (though at £9, its a bargain) FitFAQS are proud to give you their short but sweet 10km Training Guide and Running Timetables for both beginner and intermediate runners.
With over 4000 downloads, we're guessing it is one of the most popular 10k training downloads on the internet, but maybe we're a little biased and getting a bit carried away.
Be that as it may, the guide is free and available for you to download and print off at your leisure to help with you training for months to come. But it gets better...........
fitFAQs have teamed up with three leading running companies to help keep you guys on track with your training by offering all subscribers the chance to win some top of the range running gear.

- Brooks, one of the UK's (if not the worlds) leading manufacturers of Running shoes have kindly offered all fitFAQs subscribers the chance to win a pair of their award winning running shoes every quarter.
- Moving Comfort, one of the USA's leading womens leisure wear brands (and now expanding to the UK) are giving away a sports bra every quarter.
- Polar, the leading heart rate monitor company are offering subscribers the chance to win one of their best selling models the RS300, complete with an inertial running pod. The winner will be drawn in February 2012.
So, for a chance to win a pair of Brooks flagship "Adrenaline GTS" shoes or their award winning "Ghosts" or any of the other prizes, you don't need to lift a finger.
Simply sign up for the fitFAQs running guides and you'll automatically be entered into the competition. (UK Subscribers only)
The winner will be chosen at random every three months and you'll be contacted as soon as your name is selected, so good luck and happy running.
