Click here to download arguably the most comprehensive and up to date training guide for all runners planning to compete in a 10Km running event.

This PDF contains everything you need to know about training, eating and preparing for a 10km running event, with useful information on how to prevent injuries and get the most out of your training and the race itself.

10Km Beginners Training Plan

If you are fairly new to running and want to tackle your first 10km without busting a gut, this is the timetable for you.

This realistic 10 week training plan will help you prepare gently for your first race and ensure you actually enjoy training rather than dread it.

10Km Intermediate Training Plan

So, you fancy pushing yourself?
The intermediate training guide is a significant step up from the beginners training plan and assumes you are already a seasoned runner. It is a reasonably challenging training plan and if followed correctly, should be able to get you quick enough to break throught the 40 minute barrier.
